2015-16: Enjoyed a phenomenal season as a newcomer with the Panthers, earning Second-Team All-Horizon League honors after averaging 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game ... broke the school record for assists in a season and per game, finishing second in the NCAA in total assists (267) and with his assist average ... started all 33 games ... shot 43.3 percent from the floor and 78.8 percent from the line ... finished 15th in the league in scoring, second in assists, seventh in free throw percentage, first in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.9) and third in minutes played (35.2 mpg) ... his 1,162 total minutes was third all-time ... redefined what the point guard position can do at Milwaukee over the course of his first season ... set numerous records, including against UIC Feb. 28 in the regular-season finale when he broke the school record for most assists in a game, finishing with 15 to edge past the former mark of 14 set in 2011 ... recorded eight different points/assists double-doubles on the season for a program record ... his 8.1 per-game average tops the program chart, knocking the former season mark of 7.0 (Marc Mitchell, 1992-93) into second ... pulled off a triple-double against Youngstown State Feb. 22 with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, marking the fourth triple-double all-time in program history and the first since Kaylon Williams put up the identical 10/10/10 statline in a win over Butler January 3, 2011 (a span of 176 games played) ... Johnson grabbed his 10th rebound at the 14:09 mark, scored his ninth and 10th points with 11:22 remaining on a pair of free throws and rounded out the historic performance with his 10th assist on J.R. At John Wood CC: Played two seasons at John Wood Community College in Quincy, Ill., and was tabbed NJCAA First Team All-America in 2014-15 after leading the team to the NJCAA Division II national championship game … also collected Region 24 Player of the Year and Mid-West Athletic Conference Player of the Year accolades in 2014-15 after contributing 15.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 35.2 percent (51-for-145) from three-point range and 82.5 percent (198-for-240) from the free throw line … scored in double digits on 29 occasions and topped the 20-point plateau nine times in 2014-15 … in a game against Neosho County Community College, he recorded a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists … scored a season-high 30 points versus Illinois Central College … as a freshman in 2013-14, pitched in 13.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.6 apg and 1.4 spg  … drained an impressive 44.5 percent (61-for-137) of his three-point attempts as a freshman.
 
High School: Put up 15.5 ppg and 5.0 apg as a senior at Waukegan High School where he was a teammate of current Milwaukee guard Akeem Springs.
