Averaged 16.2 points per game as a senior at Marion, ranking sixth in the league ... also made 31 three-pointers, shooting 37.8 percent from the beyond the arc ... other numbers included a 49 percent overall shooting clip, 4.2 assists per game, a 1.56 assist-to-turnover ratio and a 79.1 percent shooting number from the foul line ... efforts helped Marion finish 21-4 and win the North Central Conference ... as a junior, helped Marion reach the Indiana Class 4A state championship game ... lost to Brownsburg, 40-39, on a buzzer-beating shot ... team finished 24-5 ... averaged nearly 10 points and four assists.

Son of Robert and Jada McCallum ... uncle is Detroit head coach Ray McCallum ... was on the high honor roll throughout high school ... also received an academic honors diploma ... did community service work at Lincoln Elementary School in Marion ... also spent time in the spotlight when he joined a group of players from Marion who played basketball with President Obama during a campaign visit to Marion in 2008.
