2008: Workhorse on the mound in his first season at UWM, appearing in 27 games ... that total was second on the team and third in the Horizon League ... went 3-4 in throwing 56.0 innings, striking out 47 batters ... made four starts and recorded two saves ... helped Milwaukee to its first win of the season, allowing two earned runs and recording a season-high six strikeouts in 6.2 innings against Richmond Feb. 24 ... struck out four in 1.2 innings vs. Notre Dame March 26 ... earned the victory in two-straight appearances in early April, striking out four in 2.0 innings against Chicago State April 9 and then working 1.1 scoreless innings against Cleveland State April 11 ... saved the win over Bradley April 15, allowing no earned runs in 2.0 innings ... other save came in Horizon League Tournament elimination game against Valparaiso May 24, allowing just one hit and striking out four in 3.0 scoreless innings.
Prior to UWM: Played for two seasons at MATC in Madison ... went 4-4 with a 3.69 earned run average as a sophomore, helping team to a 41-16 overall record ... struck out 32 in 46.1 innings ... also went 4-4 as a freshman, with a 4.08 ERA in 53.0 innings ... made nine starts and finished with five complete games, two shutouts and 46 strikeouts compared to just 15 walks ... went to the University of Wisconsin as a freshman, earning Scout Team Player of the Year in 2004 at quarterback for Badger football coach Barry Alvarez.
