Grant Rohrig was named Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Panthers in December 2020.
While with the Panthers, Rohrig will work mainly with the men's basketball and women's tennis teams.

He comes to Milwaukee after spending three years at Washington University in St. Louis as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Rohrig served as the head football athletic trainer and provided primary coverage for the Bears’ men’s basketball and baseball teams. In addition, Rohrig had administrative responsibility as the Insurance Coordinator for varsity student-athletes at WashU.

Prior to Washington University in St. Louis Rohrig spent two years as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He worked with the Loper football and baseball teams from 2016-18. Rohrig also assisted with medical coverage of the Midwest Duals (2016 & 2017) and the UNK Holiday Inn Classic (2017 & 2018) Wrestling tournaments. In addition, he covered the nonconference Men’s Basketball schedule and served as a preceptor for undergraduate athletic training students at clinical rotation sites.

He holds membership with NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association), CATS (College Athletic Trainers' Society) MATA (Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association) and MOATA (Missouri Athletic Trainers Association).

Born in Stillwater, Minnesota, Rohrig obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and his Master’s of Science in Education and Student Affairs at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
