2020: Did not compete and maintained freshman eligibility... Season cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.

High School: Spent four seasons as the shortstop for the Islanders, earning all-metro and all-state honors as a senior … academic all-state selection … team went 18-5 and was a sectional finalist his last season … selected for Minnesota State All-Star Game … earned numerous Tri-Metro All-Conference accolades … threw a perfect game in his first-ever start, striking out 10 batters on 71 pitches in a 1-0 victory over St. Anthony … ranked No. 33 in the state of Wisconsin by Perfect Game … also played soccer his senior year, earning a spot in the starting lineup by season’s end … honor roll member … National Honor Society member … played six seasons with the Minnesota Blizzard.

Personal: Son of Jim and Renee Rubendall ... a business major … three of his cousins played NCAA DI soccer … chose Milwaukee because he loves the area and because the coaches are huge on player development … career goal is something in the sports marketing field … most memorable sports experience was throwing a perfect game in his first-ever start, one of few high-school athletes to record the feat in state history … lists hobby as “being outside” … has done volunteer work with DeLaSalle baseball camps and Special Olympics … born July 11, 2000.
