2009: Milwaukee's ace on the mound, went 5-4 in 14 games, making 13 starts ... had the lowest ERA of any regular starter ... led team in innings (93.0), strikeouts (68) and complete games (3) ... finished second in the Horizon League in innings pitched, sixth in strikeouts and 10th in ERA ... his strikeout/walk ratio of 3.78 (68K/18BB) was one of the best in the league and third all-time in program history ... also finished fifth all-time in that career category at UWM ... first Panther to lead team in innings pitched for two straight seasons since 2001-02 ... got the ball in the season opener against No. 6 Arizona State Feb. 20 ... first win of the season came against Valparaiso March 26, allowing two runs in 7.1 innings, with seven K's and just one walk ... proceeded to win four-straight starts ... beat UIC April, which came into the game unbeaten in league play, with a complete game, allowing just four hits while fanning six ... struck out a team-high nine batters to tie his career-best against Wright State April 10 in getting the win ... beat Youngstown State April 17 with eight strikeouts, going 8.0 innings ... recorded the win in his last UWM start against Valparaiso May 22 in the Horizon League Tournament.

 

2008: Stepped in immediately as a weekend starter for UWM, earning Horizon League All-Newcomer Team honors ... led the team with a 4.24 ERA, ranking eighth in the league ... also led the squad with 97.2 innings (second in league) and 53 strikeouts (fifth) ... made 13 starts among his 17 appearances ... went 5.1 innings in his debut vs. UNC Wilmington Feb. 23, not getting a decision despite allowing no earned runs ... struck out seven in 6.0 innings of his first win of the year vs. Austin Peay March 15 ... fanned six in win over Butler March 28 ... struck out a season-high nine in 8.0 shutout innings against Butler May 10, allowing just three hits ... beat Valparaiso to get UWM to the Horizon League Tournament Championship May 24, allowing three runs in 6.0 innings.

Prior to UWM: Spent two seasons at MATC in Madison, going 6-2 with 68 strikeouts and just 19 walks in 86.0 innings over two seasons ... helped the Wolfpack to a 41-16 record in 2007, going 5-2 with a 3.96 ERA in 13 games, making 10 starts ... All-Academic Team selection.

High School: Was a Minnesota High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State selection in 2005 at Menahga High School ... went 27-2 in his prep career, including 9-0 with a 1.48 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 56 innings as a senior ... an all-conference selection from his sophomore through senior seasons, was also named the Most Outstanding Pitcher in the conference as a sophomore and junior ... also an all-conference basketball player (over 1,000 career points) and quarterback of the football team ... honor roll member.
