2016-17 (Sophomore)
Continued his strong showing at the Horizon League Championships, finishing league runner-up in both breaststroke events as a sophomore ... broke the school record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:01.27 at the league meet ... nearly broke his own record in the 100 breast, as well, with an NCAA B-cut time of 55.37 in finals ... also came in 15th in the 200 IM and helped the 400 medley relay take fourth and the 200 medley relay fifth at the conference championships ... competed for the first time following training trip, taking second in the 100 breast and third in the 200 breast in a win over Wheaton Jan. 14 ... followed that up by sweeping the breaststroke events at the UIC Invite Jan. 21 ... came in runner-up in the 200 breast against Green Bay one week later.
2015-16 (Freshman)
Made a strong first impression as a freshman, taking fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a school and freshman-record time of 55.14 at the Horizon League Championships … also came in seventh in the 200 breast and 20th in the 200 IM at the league meet … also helped the 400 medley relay to a fifth-place finish at the conference championships … made collegiate debut Oct. 17 against GVSU, taking second in both breaststroke events … one week later, was second in the 100 breast, eighth in the 200 breast, 14th in the 200 IM and 14th in the 400 IM at the All Wisconsin Invite … was runner-up in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 breast at Wright State Oct. 30 … claimed his first collegiate win in the 100 breast against Wheaton Nov. 6 … one day later, was third in the 200 breast and seventh in the 200 IM at UIC … placed 10th in both breaststroke events and 33rd in the 100 back at Milwaukee’s midseason meet at Iowa Dec. 4-6 … time of 2:01.58 in the 200 breast at Iowa broke the freshman and school record, while 100 breast time of 55.86 also was a freshman record … returned from training trip with a win in the 100 breast against Chicago Jan. 16 … helped UWM to a team win over Green Bay Jan. 30 by taking second in the 100 breast … in all, tallied 10 top-three finishes on the season.
High School
A four-year swimmer at Rolling Meadows High School ... earned all-state honors twice ... also finished first-team all-conference twice and first-team all-sectional once ... an All-American consideration ... twice named MSL Swimmer of the Year ... also competed in water polo for three years and ultimate frisbee two years.
