High School: Tremendous all-around athlete … finished his career with 1,194 points, a total that ranks ninth in Boylan Catholic High School history … also totaled 369 rebounds, 240 assists and 102 steals in his prep career … shot 38 percent from three-point range and his 174 career three-point field goals ranks third in Boylan Catholic annals … during his senior season in 2013-14, was named NIC-10 Most Valuable Player and Male Athlete of the Year … also picked up special mention all-state honors as a senior after putting up 18.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest … is the 20th player in Boylan Catholic history to play NCAA Division I basketball … also was a standout football player and as a junior, threw for 1,232 yards and 10 touchdowns … as a senior, moved to wide receiver and hauled in 51 catches for 861 yards and seven touchdowns en route to all-conference honors … Boylan Catholic won the IHSA Class 7A state title in football in 2010 and 2011 … also competed in track and field … played AAU basketball for Pryme Tyme and Rockford Ambassadors.
