Biography
2012-13: Came in runner-up in 200 freestyle seventh in the 500 free and 12th in the 100 free at the Horizon League Championships ... helped the 800 free relay to league title ... also helped the 200 free relay to a second-place showing and the 400 free relay to a third-place finish at the league meet ... tallied six wins on the season and nine more second-place finishes ... posted season-best times in 100, 200 & 500 free at the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational ... also saw the 50 free twice, taking second at Chicago and the 1000 free once, taking second against Wheaton.
2011-12: Finished third in the 500 free, fourth in the 200 free and seventh in the 100 free to help Milwaukee to its third-straight crown at the Horizon League Championships ... also helped the 800 free relay team to a second-place showing at the league meet, just missing a school record ... finished fourth in the 100 free and sixth in the 200 free in the season-opener at Wisconsin Oct. 7 ... third in the 200 free in a win over Ball State Oct. 28 ... one day later, finished fifth in the same event over Wright State ... second in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free in a win over UIC Nov. 5 ... placed second in the 100 free and seventh in the 500 free at the Stevens Point Border Battle Nov. 11-12 ... topped the field in the 100 free and took second in the 200 free at Carthage Jan. 14 ... won the 500 free and again finished second in the 200 free in a win over Chicago Jan. 21 ... was second in the 200 free and fourth in the 400 free in a commanding win over Green Bay Feb. 4.
2010-11: Third in the 50 freestyle against Wright State Oct. 29 ... third in the 400 IM in a season-best time against Wheaton College Nov. 5 ... recorded career-best times in the 50 and 100 free at the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational Dec. 3-5 ... took second place in both the 50 free and 200 free in Milwaukee's victory over Western Illinois Jan. 29.
2009-10: Competed in freestyle and breaststroke events as a freshman ... fourth in the 100 freestyle in his first collegiate meet against Wheaton College Nov. 6 ... third in the 50 free and fourth in the 100 breaststroke in win over Valparaiso Nov. 21 ... season-best times in 50 free, 100 free and 100 breast at the Falcon Invitational Dec. 4-5 ... fifth in the 100 free at the University of Chicago Jan. 23 ... fifth in the 50 free against Green Bay Feb. 6.
High School: Team captain and four-time letterwinner ... finished in the top three in the highly-competitive Upstate Eight Conference meet in both the 50 and 100 free and took fourth in both races at sectionals ... leaves as the school record-holder in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle ... the top sprinter for his squad, missed the state cut in the 50 freestyle as a senior by eight-hundredths of a second ... also lettered three times as a member of the golf team and also ran track.
