2024-25 (Senior)
Finished his season taking fifth in the 50 free at the Horizon League Championships (20.00)... helped set school records in the 200 medley relay (1:28.33) and 200 freestyle relay (1:19.62)... also competed in the 100 free (44.88, 11th), and 100 breast (56.27, 14th) setting season bests in both... broke the schools 50 free record at the Wisconsin First Chance Meet on February 7 with a time of 19.97... placed 16th in both the 50 and 100 free at IU Indy's House of Champions Meet and 14th in the 100 breast... opened his season at the Wisconsin Showcase on October 19th, finishing first in the 50 free and third in the 100 free... won the 50 free four more times against IU Indy (Oct. 26), UIC (Nov. 1), Green Bay (Jan. 25), and Stevens Point (Jan. 31)... was named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week on February 12... was named to the CSC Academic All-Distract and Horizon League All-Academic Teams.

2023-24 (Junior)
Competed in four events at the Horizon League Championships, placing fourth in the 200 free relay (1:20.45*), fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:29.78), seventh in the 50 free (20.36, 20.12 prelims), and 14th in the 100 free prelims (45.34)... the time of 1:20.45 in the 200 free relay set a new program record, while his 20.12 mark tied the program record in the 50 free... opened the year October 21 at the Wisconsin Showcase, finishing second in the 50 free with a time of 21.03... won the 50 free October 27 against UIC, then won again a week later against Davenport... grabbed a win in the 100 free November 4 against Wheaton... had a strong showing at the IUPUI House of Champions meet, finishing fifth in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 free with a season-best time of 45.32 seconds... won the 50 free in identical times of 20.81 seconds January 27 against Green Bay and February 3 against Stevens Point... was named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, and the Horizon League Honor Roll.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
Swam in three events at the Horizon League Championships, placing eighth in the 50 freestyle (20.50/20.42 prelims), 12th in the 100 free (44.88), and 18th in the 100 breaststroke (57.99) ... his times were not only all season-best times, but his efforts in the 50 and 100 free were also the best on the team for the season ... in addition, his 20.42 showing in the 50 free was eighth-best all-time in program history and his 44.88 in the 100 was ninth-best all-time ... started off the year strong, posting second-place efforts in the 50 free against both UIC Oct. 15 (21.32) and at the Wisconsin Showcase Oct. 22 (21.26) ... took second in the 50 free in a time of 21.10 against the University of Chicago Jan. 14 ... claimed the 50 free victory against both Green Bay Jan. 28 (21.03) and Stevens Point Feb. 4 ... also placed second in the 100 free against St. Thomas Feb. 3 ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll ... also selected for a spot on the 2022-23 Academic All-District Swimming Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.

2021-22 (Freshman)
Capped his season by setting a freshman record at the Horizon League Championships, swimming a 20.67 in the prelims of the 50 freestyle ... finished 16th in the 50 free (20.87) and 27th in the 100 free (47.50) at the league meet ... finished third in the 50 free (21.76) against St. Thomas on February 4 ... won the event a day later against Stevens-Point with a time of 21.54 ... placed third in the 50 free against UIC on October 30 ... at the IUPUI House of Champions Invitational, finishing 26th in the 50 free (21.29), 26th in the 100 free (47.46), and 24th in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.55) ... opened the season with a fourth-place finish in the 50 free (21.53) and seventh-place finish in the 100 free (50.20) against IUPUI on October 23 ... was seventh in the 100 breast (1:04.22) November 5 in a win over Wheaton (Ill.).

High School: Swam year-round for Schroeder YMCA Swim Team, competing in sprint freestyle while at Homestead High School … placed ninth in the 50 free, seventh in the 100 free, and 21st in the 100 breaststroke at the 2021 Wisconsin Senior State Championships … swam for Schroeder for seven years … named USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
 
Personal: Son of Charles and Andrea Lorenz … father swam middle-distance for the Wisconsin Badgers in the 1990’s … majoring in physics and minoring in classics … chose Milwaukee because the University offered an amazing blend of academics and athletics and has a great physics program he is excited to be a part of … career goal is to be a professor/researcher in a physics field working for a university … most memorable sports experience was a toss-up between winning YMCA Nationals with his club team senior year or attaining his first Summer Junior National time standard … hobbies include playing the guitar, reading and playing basketball … has also done volunteer work lecturing at his home parish, Lumen Christi as well as volunteering at the Guest House of Milwaukee shelter … born April 1, 2003.
