Placed 15th in the 200 freestyle (1:41.74), 20th in the 50 free (21.61), and 25th in the 100 free (46.92) at the Horizon League Championships, establishing season-best times in each ... started off the season with sixth-place efforts in both the 100 free and 200 free at UIC Oct. 15 ... placed fifth in the 100 free (48.59) against IUPUI Oct. 28 ... third in the 500 free in a time of 5:06.31 against Wheaton Nov. 4 ... took third place in the 100 free (48.28) in the win over Green Bay Jan. 28 ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
2021-22 (Sophomore)
Finished 11th with a PR in the 200 freestyle (1:40.70), 18th in the 100 free (46.89), and 33rd in the 50 free (21.59) at the Horizon League Championships ... finished second in the 200 free (1:45.74) February 4 against St. Thomas ... the following day, placed third in the 1000 free (1:40.17) and fourth in the 100 butterfly (54.65) ... against Green Bay on January 22, finished third in the 200 free (1:49.27) and seventh in the 100 free (49.27) ... opened his season October 30 against UIC, finishing fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free ... finished runner-up in the 1000 free (10:28.75)Â in a win over Wheaton (Ill.) ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21 (COVID-shortened/Freshman)
Finished the season strong, turning in season-best times in all three events that he competed in at the Horizon League Championships ... placed 13th in the 200 freestyle (1:42.62), 15th in the 1650 free (17:18.28), and 29th in the 50 free (47.54) ... fourth in the 200 free and sixth in the 100 butterfly (54.30) against UIC March 20 ... fifth in the 100 free and sixth in the 200 free in the season-opening win over UIC Feb. 21.
High School: Enjoyed a very successful prep career at Sault Area High School, graduating as one of the program’s most accomplished swimmers … named the Upper Peninsula Male Swimmer of the Year as a senior … claimed MHSAA U.P. state champion honors in six individual events in his career … three-time Team MVP … won four state crowns as a senior (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay & 400 freestyle relay) … 2019 MHSAA U.P. State 200 free & 100 free champion while also placing in 200 free relay (third) & 200 medley relay (fifth) … 2018 MHSAA U.P. State 100 butterfly & 500 freestyle champion and 200 medley relay & 200 free relay runner-up … 2017 MHSAA U.P. State Champion in 200 free, 100 free, & 400 free relay and 200 medley relay runner-up … holds the UP record in the 200 freestyle, 100 free and 500 free … also earned varsity letters in football and soccer … competed with the Sault Area Aquatics Team and the Northern Michigan Narwhals … National Honor Society member.
