2018 Outdoor: Was a part of Milwaukee's big showing in distance events at the Horizon League Championships, taking sixth in the 1500m in 3:59.04 ... also competed in the 5000m at the league meet ... started the season taking eighth in the 1500m in 3:58.80 at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic Mar. 24 ... one week later, finished runner-up in the 5k in 14:52.03 at the Big Blue Classic ... won the 1500m at the Drake Alternative April 28 in 4:00.08.
2018 Indoor: Set the bar high as a freshman, earning valuable points and taking fifth in the 5000m at his first Horizon League Championships ... also just missed a scoring spot in the 3k one day later at the league meet, taking 12th ... made collegiate track debut Jan. 20 at the home Tierney Classic, taking second in the mile in 4:17.90 ... one week later, won the 3k in 8:32.18 at the Mark Messersmith Invite ... turned in an incredible performance in his first collegiate 5k, clocking in at 14:32.04 at the GVSU Big Meet Feb. 10 - ranking him second in school history.
2017 Cross Country: Suffered an injury midway through his first collegiate meet and did not compete again ... received a medical hardship waiver and maintained freshman eligibility.
High School
Burst onto the scene at Fond du Lac High School ... capped his career with the Cardinals by taking fourth in both the 1600m and 3200m at the state track meet ... also qualified for the 800m as a senior, taking 14th ... named first team all-conference in the 1600m and second team all-conference in both the 800m and 3200m ... earlier in the year, won a sectional title and came in 22nd of 189 at the state meet in his first year running cross country ... also qualified for state in track as a junior in both the 1600m and 3200m ... graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Son of Gary and Monica ... chose Milwaukee because it was close to home, was impressed with the facilities and the coaching staff and is a Brewers & Bucks fan ... cousin, Mike Tagliapietra, was a member of the 2016 Team USA Paralympic shooting team ... lists most memorable sports experience as scoring 10 points at the 2017 state track meet and helping his team finish 10th ... born July 10, 1998.
