Swam in a pair of events at the Horizon League Championships, taking 15th in the 200 backstroke (1:53.08) and 32nd in the 200 IM (1:57.57/1:56.91 prelims), setting season-best times in each ... started off the year by placing fourth in the 200 back and seventh in the 100 back at UIC Oct. 15 ... upped the performances in his next meet at the Wisconsin Showcase Oct. 22, placing second in the 200 back in a time of 1:56.69 and fifth in the 200 freestyle in 1:46.61 ... second in the 1000 free (10:20.69) in the win over Wheaton Nov. 4 ... closed out January strong, posting a third-place effort in the 200 free and a fourth-place showing in the 200 back in the win over Green Bay Jan. 28 ... followed that up with runner-up outings in the 200 free against both St. Thomas Feb. 3 and Stevens Point Feb. 4, adding a third-place result in the 200 back against the Pointers ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
