Panthers Men’s Basketball Adds Braylon Walker To Roster

Four-year high school starter headed to Milwaukee

April 28, 2026

MILWAUKEE – Braylon Walker has signed with the Milwaukee men's basketball program and is set to play for the Panthers next season, head coach Bart Lundy officially announced today.

Walker comes to the Panthers after a four-year varsity career at Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Ill. The 1,000-point scorer was part of a school-record 106 victories as a four-year starter, helping the program to three regional titles, two sectional crowns, and one super-sectional title.

"We are excited about the addition of Braylon to our program," Lundy said. "Braylon is a two-way player who not only can score the basketball but also is a tremendous defender. He is a high-character young man and an excellent student. What we love best about Braylon is his motivation to be great."

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard helped lead the Blue Devils to a 30-4 campaign as a senior, earning Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Special Mention All-State accolades in a highly-successful campaign that came to a conclusion in the Class 4A sectional semifinal game in which he scored a career-high 33 points.

Walker was a Daily Herald Lake County Boys Basketball All-Area Team selection after averaging 14.9 points, 5.9 assists, 3.4 steals, and a team-best 5.9 rebounds per contest this past winter. He was named to the First Team North Suburban All-Conference squad after playing a key role in the team's NSC regular-season championship, finishing a perfect 14-0 in league play.

He enjoyed a breakout senior campaign, playing the best basketball of his prep career. As a junior, he put up a statline of 6.8 points/4.1 rebounds per night, helping Warren Township to a 27-11 record and a state championship runner-up.
