MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Despite a 30-point performance from
Grace Lomen, Milwaukee was unable to get past Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon, falling in overtime by a 71-64 score.
Lomen's 30-point effort was the 41st time in the program's Division I history that a player has scored at least 30 points in a game. She finished the game 10-of-22 from the field, including a 6-for-12 performance from beyond the arc.
Milwaukee stumbled out of the blocks and trailed the Colonials by a 23-8 score after the opening quarter. A 12-2 run by the Panthers to open the second period sliced the deficit to five, highlighted by three three-pointers from Lomen and another from
Payton Rechlicz.

The Panther offense began to fire again in the fourth quarter, but Milwaukee's shots were answered by Robert Morris until the waning minutes. Down five, Lomen hit a two-point shot with 1:34 to go, then came up with a steal on the defensive end before swishing a game-tying basket to level the score at 57 and send the game to overtime.
In the extra session, Robert Morris scored the first eight points as the Panthers struggled to find their offensive rhythm. Lomen drained another three to reach 30 points with under a minute remaining to trim the deficit to six, but it was not enough as the Colonials held on for the win.
Four of Robert Morris' five starters were in double figures, including a team-best 19 by Eva Levingston. Jada Lee recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards, while the Colonials got 69 of their 71 points from their starting five.
Milwaukee had a one-rebound advantage, while both teams shot just above 37 percent from the field.
