MILWAUKEE – Emily Petring of the Milwaukee women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier this afternoon.
 
The league honor marks the first for Petring in her time as a Panther.
 
Petring put together a great week to help the Panthers go 2-0 on a tough road trip, playing a major role in four of the five goals the team scored on the week.
 
She started it with a bang, accounting for all three goals in the 3-1 win at Northern Kentucky, marking the first hat trick for a Panther since November of 2024. She followed that up with an assist on the game-tying goal to help Milwaukee overcome a 1-0 deficit in its 2-1 win at Wright State Sunday.

The league honor is the second of the fall season for the program, joining Emily Urban's selection as defensive player of the week Sept. 28.
