Panthers Sweep Horizon League Player Of The Week Awards

Team firing on all cylinders as postseason approaches

October 26, 2026

MILWAUKEE – Natalie Zodrow of the Milwaukee women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week and Lauren Nidey has been named the Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier this afternoon.

Zodrow has come up big down the stretch, scoring goals in each of her past four matches including each contest during a 2-0 week for the Panthers on the road last week.

She accounted for the lone goal in Milwaukee's 1-0 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne Thursday and then added an insurance goal during the 4-0 shutout over Cleveland State Sunday.

Nidey posted back-to-back clean sheets on the road to help the Panthers to a 2-0 week and reach 10-0 in league play, clinching their sixth straight Horizon League regular-season title in the process. In league-only games, she is second with both her four shutouts and her 0.70 goals-against average.

The league honors are the first for both players in their MKE careers as well as the fourth and fifth for the program this fall. They join Emily Petring (recent back-to-back Offensive Player of the Week honors) and Emily Urban (Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 28).
