MILWAUKEE – Carson Pridie of the Milwaukee men's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier this afternoon.
Pridie led the way for the Panthers in a 0-0 draw against Purdue Fort Wayne Saturday, coming through with his league-leading sixth shutout of the season.
He made a career-high 10 saves, marking the first 10+ save performance by a Panther goalkeeper since 2021.
He also now leads the Horizon League in GAA (0.55), save percentage (.905), and saves per game (5.18). In addition, he leads the NCAA in save percentage and is fourth in the nation in goals-against average.
The award is the first of Pridie's career and also the first for the team this fall.
