MILWAUKEE – For Milwaukee men's basketball freshman
Stevie Elam, the game of basketball has always carried a deeper meaning.
A childhood cancer survivor, Elam's journey to the NCAA Division I level is defined by resilience, perspective, and gratitude — qualities that continue to shape his impact both on and off the court for Milwaukee.
Elam overcame cancer at a young age, an experience that changed his outlook on life long before he ever put on a Panthers uniform. Today, that same strength and determination are evident in the way he approaches his role within the program, embracing each opportunity with purpose.
Fans can watch the exclusive from CBS 58 telling Elam's inspiring journey, as told by Lance Allan and Jon McGlocklin of the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), by visiting the following
