MILWAUKEE – Chandler Jackson of Indianapolis, Ind., has signed with the Milwaukee men's basketball program and is set to play for the Panthers in the upcoming 2025-26 season, head coach
Bart Lundy officially announced today.
Jackson arrives in Milwaukee following last season at Parkland College in Champaign, Ill., in which he was named a First-Team National Junior College Athletic Association Division II All-American. Jackson led the Cobras to a 33-3 campaign in which they came up just short of winning the National Championship, falling in the NJCAA DII National Tournament title game.
"We are thrilled to announce the addition of Chandler to our program," Lundy said. "He has the size and skill to make an immediate impact this season. As a First Team All-American and a player that led his team to the National Championship Game this past season, he comes in very accomplished but hungry to get better and we are excited to help him along his journey. His personality will make fit well with our players and our fans!"
Jackson, a 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward, started all 29 games he appeared in, averaging 17.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while guiding Parkland to the Mid-West Athletic Conference regular-season title, an NJCAA Region 24 title, and that runner-up finish at the NJCAA DII National Tournament.
The redshirt sophomore added 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals a night, shooting 53.4 percent (191-of-358) from the field, 38.1 percent (61-of-160) from three-point range, and 84.5 percent (49-of-58) from the free throw line this season. He scored 20-or-more points in a game on 10 occasions, including a season-high 28 against John Wood Community College in March.
He redshirted the 2023-24 campaign at Parkland and played as a true freshman at Illinois Springfield. In his one season with the Prairie Stars, he averaged 2.9 points and 1.0 rebound per game in his 23 appearances.
Jackson played at Warren Central High School, where he was a High Honorable Mention All-USA Central Indiana Super Team member.
