November 03, 2025

INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced its weekly honors on Monday, with Milwaukee freshman Josie Noble earning Horizon League Volleyball Player of the Week honors.

Noble had a dominant week for the Panthers, leading all Horizon League players with 19 blocks, including a 13-block performance against Green Bay on Tuesday evening. She finished that match with 13 kills and 13 blocks against the Phoenix.

Across three matches, Noble totaled 36 kills with a .463 hitting percentage, highlighted by a .800 clip with 12 kills and no errors on 15 attempts in Saturday's sweep of Purdue Fort Wayne.

Noble was one of just two players across the 10-team Horizon League with 50 or more points on the week, adding a pair of service aces to her totals. She also contributed six digs on defense.

On the season, Noble ranked third among all Horizon League student-athletes with 1.07 blocks per set (92 total over 86 sets played). She also sits seventh in hitting percentage at .286 and is 16th in points per set at 3.09 (265.5 total).

During her freshman campaign, Noble has tallied 194 kills on 426 attempts with 18 service aces. Defensively, she leads the Panthers with her 92 blocks, including 15 solo and 77 assisted blocks, and has added 24 digs.

Milwaukee will wrap up its home schedule this weekend when Robert Morris visits the Klotsche Center. First serve on Friday evening is set for 6:00 p.m.
