MILWAUKEE – Ryan Berghauer,
Mitch Goodman, and
Jack Wagner of the Milwaukee men's soccer team have all been named to the 2025 Academic All-District Soccer Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced Tuesday.
The honor marks a career-first for the rest of the honorees.
Berghauer was an All-Horizon League Third-Team selection for his work on the field and was also named to the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team earlier this fall. This season, he started all 19 games on defense, adding four points on a pair of goals on the offensive side of the field while always a threat with headers on corner kicks. In the classroom, he is a Business major with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Goodman has been a key piece of the back line of defense for the Panthers most of his career, starting nearly every game of his final two seasons with the program. A Kinesiology major, he carries a 3.52 GPA in the classroom.
Wagner has also been a major contributor to the team in his career with the Panthers, starting all 38 games over the past two years in his accustomed spot on the back line of the defense. In 2024, he played all 90 minutes in every game; in 2025, he was on the field all 90 minutes of 15 of the 19 contests – he has been on the field for over 97 percent of all minutes his first two campaigns. In the classroom, the Business major holds a 3.57 grade-point average.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
