Bank Five Nine to Give Back Through Partnership with Milwaukee Athletics

September 30, 2024

MILWAUKEE (Sep. 30, 2024) – Milwaukee Athletics and Bank Five Nine have agreed to a multi-year partnership facilitated by Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties, the locally-based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics.

Through the partnership with Milwaukee Athletics, Bank Five Nine reaffirms their mission to make lives better as the presenting sponsor of the Panther Men's Basketball Assist Challenge, for which it will donate $10 for every Milwaukee assist at home games throughout the 2024-25 season. When the Panthers conclude the regular season against Detroit Mercy on March 1, Bank Five Nine will present a check with the season-long donation total to the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee.

"We are pleased to welcome Bank Five Nine to the Milwaukee Panthers family," said Amanda Braun, Director of Athletics. "Through this partnership, their commitment will not only enhance the experience for our student-athletes, but also support the important work of the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee."

In addition to the charitable component of their partnership with the Panthers, Bank Five Nine will receive sponsorship assets including courtside signage at home men's basketball games, a 30-second commercial spot during Panther Men's Basketball radio broadcasts, branded social media graphics updating assist and donation totals throughout the season, and a branded stat tracker on the men's basketball page at MKEPanthers.com.

"At Bank Five Nine, we love finding new ways to live our mission to Make Lives Better, and we are excited to work with the Panther Men's basketball team to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee," said Jeff McCarthy, SVP Marketing Director of Bank Five Nine.

With 14 locations in the greater Milwaukee area, Bank Five Nine has been serving the state of Wisconsin with various personal and business banking solutions since 1859.

"Bank Five Nine has a long history of serving Wisconsin and its citizens, and this partnership really reaffirms that history," said Kristina Filipovic, General Manager of Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties. "We're excited to work together with them and provide the platform for them to provide a charitable contribution to our community through the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee."
