MILWAUKEE – Parker Donahugh of the Milwaukee women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced this afternoon.
 
Donahugh opened Horizon League play in style, posting back-to-back clean sheets against Northern Kentucky Thursday and Wright State Sunday, both on the road. She started the week with a 2-0 shutout of NKU, making three saves. She upped the ante Sunday, finishing with four saves in the 3-0 blanking of WSU, including three in the opening 10 minutes to keep it scoreless at the time.
 
The award is the first of her MKE career and it is also the first of the fall for the team.
