Milwaukee WSOC Set To Host Horizon League Tournament

Panthers will play in 1 p.m. game Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS – Milwaukee earned the #HLWSOC regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Horizon League championship as the regular season came to a close Thursday. The Panthers will host the semifinals and championship on Nov. 7 and 9 at Engelmann Stadium.

The cost is $7 per ticket for the semifinals and championship game. Group tickets (10 or more) are available at a discounted price of $5 each. Contact the ticket office for more information at 414-229-5886 on groups. Students from Horizon League schools are free with a school ID.
 
For the ninth time in the last ten seasons, Milwaukee clinched the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship. The Panthers concluded the 2024 regular season with a 9-0-1 League record and a 10-6-2 overall record, including a road win at Green Bay earlier today. MKE will play its semifinal match against the lowest-remaining seed after the quarterfinal matches on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Northern Kentucky enters postseason play as the No. 2 seed and will also receive a bye into the semifinal round. The Norse finished the regular season with a league record of 8-1-1, winning the last six matches. NKU will take on the highest-remaining seed from the quarterfinal matches on Nov. 7 at Engelmann Stadium.
 
The 2024 #HLWSOC Championship begins Sunday, Nov. 3 with quarterfinals hosted by No. 3 seed Detroit Mercy and No. 4 seed RMU. Both matches are set to begin at 1 p.m. ET. The Titans finished the regular season with 23 points in league play following a 5-0 win over Oakland on Wednesday, while the Colonials totaled 15 league points.  
 
Detroit Mercy will host No. 6 seed Purdue Fort Wayne, who wrapped up the regular season with 12 points following a 3-0 win over IU Indy on Wednesday. The Titans collected a 3-1 win over the Mastodons earlier this month.
 
RMU will host No. 5 seed IU Indianapolis as the Jaguars closed out league play with 14 points. The Colonials and Jags played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 29 in Moon Township.
 
Every match of the 2024 Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.
