MILWAUKEE – David Cox of the Milwaukee men's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced this afternoon.
 
The award is the first of his career and it is also the first of the fall for the team.
 
Cox put together a brilliant effort to help Milwaukee claim its first Horizon League victory of the season.
 
Cox helped the Panthers erase a 1-0 second-half deficit when he scored in the 60^th minute to level it and then blasted home a penalty kick just three minutes later to go ahead, 2-1. He topped that off with an assist on the third goal for a career-high five points (2G/1A) in the 3-2 decision over Robert Morris.
