MILWAUKEE – Former Milwaukee men's soccer player
Logan Farrington was selected third overall by FC Dallas in the MLS SuperDraft Tuesday.
Farrington began his playing career with the Panthers, earning First-Team All-Horizon League accolades each season in Milwaukee (2020/2021/2022) as well as United Soccer Coaches All-Region status in both 2022 and 2020.
Farrington wrapped up his collegiate career this past fall at Oregon State, leading the Beavers to the NCAA College Cup semifinals before falling one game short of the national championship contest as part of an 11-6-5 campaign.
He earned All-American honors from both the United Soccer Coaches and Top Drawer Soccer after a season in which he scored 15 goals and 37 points and was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year as well as the Offensive Player of the Year.
In his three seasons in Milwaukee, Farrington led the team in scoring twice, recording 54 career points on 20 goals and 14 assists.
