Kyle Zenoni Named Head Coach At UMass Lowell

Has been with MKE since 2013

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Athletic Department will open a search for a new men's soccer assistant coach after Kyle Zenoni was named the head coach at UMass Lowell today.

Zenoni has long had ties with the Panther program, beginning with a four-year Hall of Fame playing career from 2002 through 2005, leading the team to one of its most successful four-year runs in program history. The Panthers went 63-17-10 overall – a .756 winning percentage – including a sparkling 23-3-2 (.857) mark in Horizon League play that resulted in three regular-season titles and one runner-up finish.

Zenoni returned to where he started his collegiate coaching career, having served as an assistant coach with the Panthers in 2010 before spending the 2011 campaign at Green Bay as an assistant on Kris Kelderman's staff with the Phoenix before both arrived with the Panthers in 2012. The 2021 campaign marked his seventh season as the associate head coach for the Milwaukee Panthers, as well as his 13th season overall as a coach in NCAA Division I men's soccer. During his tenure, the Panthers won two conference titles and made NCAA Tournament appearances in 2013 and 2020. The program ranked fourth in its region in 2020 and boasted an MLS draft pick the same year.
