MILWAUKEE – For the third consecutive season,
Logan Farrington has been selected for First-Team All-Horizon League honors to highlight the Milwaukee men's soccer team selections when the league office announced the all-league teams and specialty award winners Friday.
Emil Lindgren Pedersen was also recognized with a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
Farrington becomes the first Panther with three consecutive selections to the First Team since Laurie Bell (2012-13-14).
Farrington was once again a main piece of the offensive puzzle for the Panthers, leading the team in points with 17 (7G/3A) and goals with seven. He was a First-Team All-Horizon League selection each of his first two seasons and a challenge for any opponent's defense. He also leads the team in shots (52) and shots on goal (24). Among league leaders, he sits third in shots, second in shots on goal, tied for third in goals, and fourth in total points. In league-only games, he was second with 1.38 points-per-game.
Lindgren Pederson burst onto the scene and put together a brilliant freshman campaign, making seven starts in 17 games while sitting second on the team in points with 16, scoring six goals while adding four assists. He is also second in shots (36) and shots on goal (19) on the squad. His 16 points on the season ranks tied for seventh in the Horizon League, and his six goals tied for fifth. He is the second-ranked freshmen in total points and, with 16 points, is the highest-scoring MKE freshman since Antou Jallow also had 16 back in 2001.
