MILWAUKEE, Wis. – For the third time this season,
Ari Miller of the Milwaukee volleyball team was named Horizon League Player of the Week.
Milwaukee has earned the honor four times in five weeks this season with Miller being named Player of the Week three times and
Madi Malone once.
Miller helped the Panthers begin 2-0 in Horizon League action with wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and IUPUI. In the two victories, Miller hit .400 and totaled 32 assists to go along with six blocks. In Friday's win over the Mastodons, Miller put away 18 kills with a .417 attack percentage. She followed on Sunday with a 14-3-29 (.379) line in a sweep of the Jaguars. The junior continues to lead the league in hitting percentage (.372) and ranks second in total kills (208) and points (237).
The Panthers return home this week to host Northern Kentucky on Thursday, September 30 followed by Wright State on Friday, October 1.
