BRIGHTON, Mich. – Raul Medina scored in the 92

The Panthers (2-2) turned up the intensity on offense in the second half before finding the winner against the Titans (1-3) in first extra period.
Medina and
Josh Kidder combined on the goal, working a give-and-go from the center of the penalty area. Medina charged towards goal, finishing far post to set off the on-field celebration with his teammates.
In the end, that hard work of the offense was rewarded, with the team outshooting its opponent by a count of 11-to-5 after intermission.
Goalkeeper
Nick Chiappa made four saves to pick up the shutout, the second of his career. One of his four saves came in the 90
th minute to get the match to the extra session.
David Cox nearly got the opportunity to play hero near the end of regulation, seeing his shot at the 87:52 mark get saved by a backline defender. That followed a nice save by the UDM keeper on a shot from the top of the box by
Logan Farrington in the 87
th minute, as well.
For the day, the Panthers held advantages of 17-12 in shots and 10-7 in corner kicks, with MKE holding 58 percent of possession in the game. Both teams ended the match with four shots on goal. Farrington led MKE with four shots, two of them on frame.
