MILWAUKEE – Three members of the Milwaukee women's soccer team were named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Teams, the organization announced Thursday.
Mackenzie Schill and
Rachel Phillpotts were honored with spots on the First Team;
Gaby Schwartz was recognized as a Second Team honoree.
Schill, a finance and marketing double-major as an undergrad, has a 3.74 GPA and is currently working on her Business Administration MBA.
A nutritional sciences major who also has earned her undergrad degree and is working on a business administration MBA, Phillpotts carries a 3.72 GPA.
Schwartz has already earned her undergraduate degree in finance and marketing and is now completing her MBA with a perfect combined GPA of 4.0 over her five-plus years of schooling.

It's the first time an MKE player has won the award since
Kelli Swenson in 2018 (Second Team) as well as the first time Milwaukee had numerous players on the list since 2008 (Sarah Teegarden/First Team and Erin Kane/Third Team).
Student-athletes on this year's Scholar All-America Teams will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at the Kansas City Convention Center in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
