MILWAUKEE, Wis. –
Ari Miller of the Milwaukee volleyball team pulled in her fourth Horizon League Player of the Week award on Wednesday after helping lead the Panthers to another undefeated week.
The award marks the sixth in seven weeks for the sixth of Miller's career.
In wins over Oakland, Cleveland State, and UIC, Miller totaled 42 kills (4.2 per set) on .461 hitting and added five digs, two aces, and seven blocks. After putting away 12 kills in a sweep of the Golden Grizzlies, Miller finished with 11 kills and just one error (.588) the following night in a 3-0 win over the Vikings. She then capped the week with 19 kills, four blocks, and a .515 attack percentage in a 3-1 triumph against UIC.
In league play, the junior leads in hitting percentage (.445), kills per set (4.35), and points per set (4.90). This season, Miller also ranks 30th in NCAA with a .396 attack percentage and 12th in total kills (289).
The Panthers will next take on Robert Morris at home on Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 pm.
