CHICAGO, Ill. - Junior
Callie O'Donnell and sophomore
Sydney Senn each scored a pair of goals to highlight the action as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team recorded a 9-0 victory over Chicago State University Sunday afternoon at Kroc Stadium.
The Panthers (3-2-1) led the Cougars (0-7-0) by a score of just 1-0 at halftime before turning on the jets in the second half. The nine goals scored today mark the most since the team set the school record with 16 back in September of 1997.

"Today was a very good day for the team and there were contributions up and down the lineup," UWM head coach
Troy Fabiano said. "It was a great opportunity for us to get everyone on the field today."

The Panthers dominated possession in the first, but were not able to break through until the 29:40 mark. Sophomore
Aubrey Krahn opened the scoring, volleying in a cross from O'Donnell, which was set up by sophomore
Maddie Tetzke. The score remained just 1-0 until intermission.

It was a different story in the second. The Panthers netted goals in the 49
th, 52
nd and 58
th minutes and the offensive fireworks were on display.

O'Donnell stayed red-hot, sliding one past the goalie at the 48:01 mark and scoring again at the 51:14 mark to make it 3-0.

Senior
Kelsey Holbert got in on the action in the 58
th and freshman
Lourdes Onwuemeka netted her second of the season in the 66
th.

Senn tallied the next two in a five minute span, chipping the keeper from 18 yards before scoring again just 4:41 later.

Freshman
Mariah Downs (header off a corner in 77
th) and
Kelli Swenson (unassisted in 83
rd) closed out the scoring.

Junior
Paige Lincicum (70:25, 1 save) and sophomore
Emily Senger (19:35, 1 save) combined on the shutout.

The Panthers outshot the Cougars 41-to-3 on the day. Senn led the team with seven shots (6 on goal) and O'Donnell had five. O'Donnell had five points (2G/1A) to lead the charge. Swenson finished with one goal and two assists and sophomore
Erin Corrigan also had a pair of assists. Overall, 11 different players recorded goals or assists.

Up next, the Panthers open Horizon League play Friday, traveling to Rochester, Mich., for a matchup with Oakland University. Game time is set for 6 p.m. CST.
