Anna Bartz did contribute 13 digs for Milwaukee, which also collected eight blocks as a team but saw its season come to a close.

UWM had the lead early in the first set but Valparaiso broke a 9-all tie with a 7-2 run to take control. Milwaukee was then not able to get closer than four points the rest of the way.

Milwaukee trailed much of the second frame but fought back to tie things at 16-apiece on a kill by Elizabeth Egerer. Valpo answered, though, scoring nine of the final 14 points of the frame to go ahead by two sets.

The Panthers had an early lead again in the third set, but Valpo broke a 12-all tie with four-straight points and Milwaukee would never get closer than three from there.
