DETROIT - Joah Tucker scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half Saturday to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 61-48 win over Detroit Mercy.

The win kept the Panthers atop the Horizon League standings and avenged a Jan. 3 home loss to the Titans.

The Panthers (14-4, 8-1) broke away with an 11-2 run midway through the second half. Tucker, who also grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds, scored the first nine points of the streak.

The Titans took their first lead of the game by scoring the first four points of the second half, then went seven minutes without a point.

Ed McCants, the Panthers' leading scorer, finished with 10 points after spending most of the second half on the bench with four fouls.

Torvoris Baker was the only other Detroit player in double-figures with 12 points.
