Sept. 3, 1999
West Lafayette, Ind. - The UWM women's volleyball team's sweet start to the 1999 season continued Friday night
with a win over cross-town rival Marquette at the Purdue Invitational. The Panthers topped
the Golden Eagles in three games, 15-6, 15-7, 15-8.

The Panthers were sparked by Laura Dallenbach's (Waterloo, Iowa-West) 16 kills
and blistering .560 hitting percentage. She also tallied 13 digs in the win. Senior captain
Katie Schneider (West Bend, Wis.-East) added 44 assists in the victory.
UWM plays Steven F. Austin on Saturday at 9:00 am CST and Purdue at 6:30 p.m. CST. UWM returns home when the Panthers
play host at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Panther Invitational on Sept. 10-11 at the Klotsche Center.
