Cincinnati - Chad Dombrowski connected on a 22-yard blast in the 96th minute to give the UWM men's soccer team a 2-1 overtime win against Xavier on Sunday.
Dan Dulyx started the play with a throw-in to Joe Luedke who touched the ball to Tony Colvin. Colvin, who scored the game's first goal in the 77th minute, was credited the assist when he played the ball back to Dombrowski, who was charging towards the goal.
"We were more intense. We showed more effort. We showed more focus," said UWM head coach Louis Bennett. "We had some very good performances today."
Colvin's goal came on an assist from Joe Luedke. Colvin connected from the right side 18 yards out and went far post.
The Panthers play UIC on Thursday at Uihlein Field. Gametime is 7:00 p.m.
