Marquette is a former UWM record holder in the 330 and 440-yard intermediate hurdles. A four-year letterwinner in track, Marquette won three-straight Wisconsin AAU titles in the 400-meter hurdles and also placed first in the NCAA Eastern Regionals in that event in 1965.
