Finger received the Chancellor's Award in 1973 as the Most Valuable Senior Women Athlete and was co-captain of the volleyball team. She helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish in the state championship in 1972. Finger was also captain of the badminton team and placed fourth in doubles that same year.
