A former fullback and linebacker for Milwaukee State Teachers College, Geske turned down a pro contract to continue his education at MSTC after fulfilling military duty. In 1946, he was named MSTC Homecoming King. He is a former football coach for Whitefish Bay and Shorewood High School. As a coach, he brought championships to both of these schools.
