A four-year letterwinner in track and a two-year letterwinner in cross country, Driscoll was a member of four state conference championship teams from 1948-51. He competed in the long jump, 440-yard dash, mile relay and 880-yard relay. His mile relay teams in 1948 and 1951 placed first at the state conference championships, placed in four championship meets and won over 10 medals.
