Reinfeldt has the distinction of being the only UWM graduate to ever make a NFL team. The four-year letterman played for the Panthers from 1971-74, the last year of football at UWM. He co-captained the 1973 and '74 teams and was named outstanding senior by the Athletic Department in 1974. Reinfeldt earned the Chancellor's Award in 1974, was a member of the Varsity Club and served as chairman of the Captain?s Council in 1974. He graduated with a 3.0 GPA in 1975. His pro career began with the Oakland Raiders in 1975 and was traded to the Houston Oilers in 1976. He was American Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year and consensus All-Pro in 1979, a starter in the Pro Bowl and led the NFL in interceptions in 1980. Reinfeldt has been active in Special Olympics and other charities in Texas and Wisconsin. He is a native of Baraboo, WI.
