Preslaski had an impressive football career at Milwaukee and in 1970 was named the team's most improved defensive freshman and that same season set a school record for most solo tackles in a game (16 vs. St. Norbert). A four-year starter, Preslaski was a three-time team captain and was a member of the final football team at UWM.
