A four-year letterwinner in volleyball, two-year letterwinner in basketball and one-year letterwinner in track, Goodnature was the first woman on full tuition athletic scholarship at UWM. As a freshman on the volleyball team, she led the team to a third-place finish at the state tournament. After graduation she played on teams that won numerous regional tournaments.
