Schulman earned 13 varsity letters in four sports - four each in volleyball, basketball and track and one in cross country - during her five years at UWM. She was a co- captain on the basketball team in 1984, playing in every game as the team won the NAIA District 14 title, the NAIA Bi-District title and advanced to nationals before being eliminated. She is still ranked in the record books for all-time scorer, career steals and assists leader. Schulman was also part of the Panthers' mile relay team which set a school and Klotsche Center record and she set a school record in the 200-yard dash. She was also all-conference three times and all-district one time in volleyball. She was a team captain and led the team to NAIA Nationals in 1982.
