Vincent earned four letters in basketball and was named to the state all-conference team his junior and senior years. He was second in conference scoring and his four-year point total of 1,221 placed him in the UWM scoring record book. He also won two letters in track, placing second in the state high jump and fifth in the low and high hurdles. In 1960, he was presented the Kibbe Award.
