Volleyball, Basketball

Busche was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and volleyball. In basketball, she led the team in scoring and rebounding. In volleyball, she helped the team finish third at the NAIA National Championship in 1984. That same year, Busche won Herman Kluge Outstanding Senior Athlete Award and was voted onto the NAIA All- District and second-team All-American.
