2018 Outdoor: Finished as league runner-up in discus, took third in hammer throw and ninth in shot put in his final showing at the Horizon League Championships ... started his final season taking seventh in hammer (55.48m) and 13th in discus (39.68m) at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic Mar. 24 ... one week later, finished third in discus at the Big Blue Classic with a throw of 47.17m (154-9) ... took fourth in discus at the Gibson Invite April 7 ... was a part of Milwaukee's sweep of hammer throw at the Benedictine Relays April 13, taking second ... won the same event one week later with a toss of 55.40m (181-9), also taking second in discus with a season-best throw of 48.59m (159-5) at DePaul ... topped the discus field and was third in hammer and ninth in shot put at the Drake Alternative April 28 ... capped his Panther career on top at the Eagle Open May 13, winning hammer throw with a season-best mark of 59.40m (194-10), just missing his own school record ... also came in runner-up in discus at the Eagle Open ... named to the Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2018 Indoor: Successfully returned to competition after a year away, helping Milwaukee load up the podium in weight throw with a second-place finish ... also took 10th in shot put at the league meet ... returned to action Jan. 13 at the Karl Schlender Invite, taking third in both events ... one week later, came in third in shot put and fourth in weight throw at the home Tierney Classic ... started a busy weekend Feb. 2 at Notre Dame's Meyo Invite, taking ninth in weight throw at 16.84m (55-3) ... one day later, topped the weight throw field with a PR of 17.07m (56-0) and won the shot put competition (14.90m) at the Parkside Classic ... upped the PR in weight throw to 17.53m (57-6 1/4) with a runner-up finish at the GVSU Big Meet ... that mark now ranks Petrie third in program history ... came in third in both weight throw and shot put at final Panther Tune-Up meet Feb. 17 ... named to the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2017: Did not compete either season and maintained senior eligibility.

2016 Outdoor: Had a breakout second half of his junior campaign, earning his first trip to the NCAA West Regional ... took 42nd at regionals in hammer throw with a mark of 55.36m (181-7) ... was remarkable at the Horizon League Championships, winning discus, taking second in hammer and 14th in shot put ... started the outdoor season being name Horizon League Field Athlete of the Week after winning the discus, taking third in hammer and sixth in shot put at the Edmunds Invite Mar. 26 ... placed third in discus and sixth in hammer at the Gibson Invite April 9 ... won both hammer and discus competitions and was ninth in shot put at the Warrior Invite April 16 ... one week later, was again named league athlete of the week after breaking the school record in hammer throw with a toss of 59.91m (196-7) for first, winning discus and placed sixth in shot put at the St. Norbert Invite ... posted a new PR in discus with a toss of 50.37m (165-3) - which now stands eighth in program history ... for second place, while also finishing fourth in hammer and 13th in shot put at the Drake Alternative May 1 ... again won the hammer throw and finished fifth in discus at the Dr. Keeler Invite May 13 ... named to the Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2016 Indoor: Finished ninth in both the shot put and weight throw at the Horizon League Championships ... started the season taking third in weight throw and fifth in shot put at the Karl Schlender Invite Jan. 16 ... one week later, won the weight throw with a PR mark of 16.87m (55-4 1/4) and was fourth in shot put at the Tierney Quad ... that weight throw mark now ranks sixth in program history ... was runner-up in shot put at the Parkside Green & White Jan. 30 ... again took first in weight throw at the Parkside Classic Feb. 6 ... placed fourth in shot put and sixth in weight throw at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 19 ... named to the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2015 Indoor: Competed in shot put and weight throw as a sophomore at the Horizon League Championships, taking 10th in shot put ... started the season third in shot put and fourth in weight throw at the John Tierney Triangular Jan. 23 ... mark of 16.59m (54-5 1/4) in weight throw at the Tierney Triangular now stands fifth in UWM history ... fourth in both events at the Parkside Classic Feb. 7 ... finished runner-up in shot put with a season-best mark of 14.46m (47-5 1/4) at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 20. 2015 Outdoor: Finished seventh in discus, ninth in hammer throw and 12th in shot put at the Horizon League Championships ... finished runner-up in hammer throw, third in shot put and sixth in discus to start the season at the Billiken Kickoff Mar. 21 ... was second in discus, third in shot put and fourth in hammer throw at Marquette April 10 ... took fifth in hammer throw and shot put and sixth in discus at the Drake Alternative April 26 ... hammer throw mark of 48.28m (158-5) now stands eighth in program history.

2014 Indoor: Came in eighth in shot put at the Horizon League Championships ... had a PR toss of 14.61m (47-11 1/4) at the league championships ... also competed in weight throw at the league meet ... came in fifth in weight throw and seventh in shot put in collegiate debut at the John Tierney Triangular Jan. 17 ... finished runner-up in shot put at the John Craft Invite Jan. 25. 2014 Outdoor: Finished eighth in shot put, 11th in hammer throw and 15th in discus at the Horizon League Championships ... had season-best marks in both shot put (14.12m) and hammer throw (43.02m) at the league meet ... came in fourth in shot put, fifth in discus and 10th in hammer throw at the Marquette Duals April 4 ... took eighth in both shot put and discus at the Gateway Invite April 19, recording a PR in discus of 44.24m (145-2).

High School
A multi-sport athlete who excelled at every level ... set personal bests in both shot put and discus as a senior ... took fifth overall at the Wisconsin state meet in discus as a senior and ninth in shot put ... holds school record in discus ... team MVP and captain as a senior ... also competed in football, winning a state championship as a sophomore ... was the state runner-up in his wrestling weight class as a senior, finishing with an outstanding 47-2 record his senior year ... was first member from his high school to make it to state wrestling finals in 20 years ... also served as captain of wrestling team two seasons and twice was a conference champion and MVP.
