2006: Had arguably the most prolific season in UWM history ... was a First Team All-American while leading the nation with a .493 batting average and .579 on-base percentage ... paced the nation by 29 points over Kellen Kulbacki of James Madison, who batted .464 on the year ... became the first Panther to lead the nation in batting average and the first player from the Horizon League to do so since Chris Tuttle of Wright State batted .478 in 2001 ... batting average was over .500 from March 25 through May 20 ... first senior to top the chart since Fordham's Mike Marchiano hit .493 in 1997 and finished with the highest-average at the D-I level since Rickie Weeks of Southern U. - now of the Brewers - finished with a .495 clip in 2002 ... named Horizon League Player of the Year and to the all-league first team ... set school records in average, hits, doubles, triples, total bases, walks and on-base percentage, while runs total missed school mark by one ... also had a team-high 17 stolen bases ... had 35 multi-hit games while starting all 57 games on the season ... brought an eight-game hit streak into 2006, and extended that to a team record 27 by hitting safely in the first 19 games of the year ... batted .521 through those first 19 games ... after going 0-for-2 against Wright State Apr. 2, added another 32 game hitting streak to break his own school mark ... had he managed a hit in that game versus WSU, his 60-game total would have been an NCAA record ... in addition to First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American honors, was also chosen as a Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American and to the Mideast Region First Team ... led Horizon League in average, on-base percentage, runs, hits, doubles, triples, total bases, walks and stolen bases ... also earned league player of the week honors twice and appeared in Sports Illustrated's "Faces In The Crowd" ... hit .512 with runners on and .463 with two out ... in just two seasons at UWM, ranks first with his .428 average, fourth with 179 hits, second with 10 triples, fifth with a .571 slugging percentage and fourth with 30 steals ... collected three-straight three-hit games Mar. 4-18 ... seven-straight multi-hit outings Mar. 19 to Apr. 1 ... went 4-for-5 against Indiana State Apr. 4 ... had a career-high five hits and five runs scored against Chicago State Apr. 12, leading off the game with a home run ... had four hits, three runs scored and career-high four RBI in win over Youngstown State Apr. 15 ... collected five more hits versus Cleveland State Apr. 23 ... drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 25th round of the Major League Baseball Draft ... spent the summer with the Arizona Brewers, the club's rookie affiliate ... hit .289, including .369 the final month - and led the league with 30 stolen bases.
 

2005: Established himself as one of the top lead-off hitters in the Horizon League ... finished eighth in the league in batting (.352), second in runs scored (team-high 50), third in hits (team-best 68) and fourth in stolen bases (13) ... earned a spot on the All-Horizon League Newcomer Team as a result ... made 50 starts in 53 appearnces, finishing with a team-high 19 multiple-hit games ... went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in versus Cornell Mar. 21 ... put together a 10-game hitting streak Apr. 2-15, batting .405 (17-for-42) in that stretch ... was 4-for-6 with three runs scored and three runs batted in versus IPFW Apr. 6 ... scored a season-high three runs on four occasions ... tied a Panther record with two triples in a game Apr. 24 against Cleveland State ... hit a home run in the second game of the twinbill Apr. 24 ... equalled a UWM game record with three stolen bases against Wright State May 6 ... went 4-for-6 with two runs scored against Youngstown State May 28.

At MATC: Two-year standout at Madison Area Technical College ... Second-Team All-NJCAA honoree ... led the Wolfpack with a .407 batting average in 2004 ... posted a .504 on-base percentage ... stole a team-high 29 bases to go with 55 runs scored and 29 RBI ... batted .422 as a freshman with a .497 on-base percentage ... also ripped nine doubles, three triples and two home runs in 2003.

High School: Four-year baseball and football standout at Franklin High School ... named the FHS Athlete of the Year as a senior ... earned first-team all-district accolades from the WBCA ... two-time First-Team All-Southeast Conference pick.
